Our Story
Hello! We are Desi and Joro.
We like nice things – good books, travelling, talking and laughing with friends, long evenings with a glass of wine and good music.
We developed our taste for wine and even more – for good wine, learned to distinguish tones and specifics, met masters of the craft from whom we drew knowledge, inspiration and who support us.
“We have a dream…. to have a winery in Bulgaria! To craft classy wines that bring pure joy and emotion!
Wines made with love, care and attention, wines to tell stories!” – thus begins our story.

JARAVA is such a lovely Bulgarian word….In english means “ember”
Jarava is love, passion, poetry….
It brings the warmth of family, friends, father’s hearth.

We create our wine from grapes, loved by the wind and kissed by the sun, grown in the Bulgarian Northeast.
We strive to bring the charm of the terroir to the wine of Jarava – the sea breeze, the sunny days, the place itself.
